I really enjoyed last night; hopefully I'm attaching my painting. I like the skull, but I messed up and overworked the face and hands.

I guess it's normal to see the negative aspects of one's own work. I think most people, myself included, would see the decisive modelling of the volumes and conclude that you were really purposeful in your painting. Like what we talked about yesterday...putting the work in and allowing our character to show through.
