Wednesday's portrait class

Choose some interesting images of heads to paint on Wednesday. Its easier to paint somebody you don't know so that you can concentrate on the technique rather than a likeness. You can combine wild pools of watercolour with more controlled washes such as Benjamin Bjorklund's below.

I had a go finding some common ground between expression and description

and tried to concentrate on the main volume of the head.
